During a Back Woods Quail Club tower shoot, two shooters occupy one of eleven different blinds located approximately one hundred yards from our 75' tower. The blinds are situated 70 yards apart from each other and make a complete circle around the tower. We release pheasants from the tower and participants try their best to take the hearty birds down as they escape to the surrounding hunting preserves. We rotate the field periodically so participants have an opportunity to shoot from each blind. The shoot lasts approximately three hours and the total number of birds harvested will be divided evenly between each participant. This is a high volume shooting adventure. Lunch is included and will be served immediately after the tower shoot in the field. A typical shoot goes like this:
- 8:45 am - Safety meeting at at the tower
- 9:00-11:30 am - Shoot
- 12 noon - Lunch at the Tower immediately after the shoot
$400 per person.
$800 per blind.
We recommend you bring ear plugs, safety glasses, a large cooler, high-power shells (#5's max.) and a 12 gauge shotgun with modified choke. The harvest of pheasants is divided equally among participants. We recommend that you recruit a shooter to share your blind. Partnering assures an enjoyable time for the three-hour shoot. 10% Discount for booking a blind for all seasonal shoots (Call for Details)
* A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book a hunt. Balance due on the day of the hunt.
